Bio
Originally hailing from Blackpool, England, Ms. London traveled to the U.S. with her family when she was eight and almost immediately began the process of assimilating into American life. Her family owned multiple businesses throughout her childhood, and through her participation in those enterprises, she learned the value of skill and hard work. A lover of animals, Ms. London once had designs on becoming a veterinarian, but her discomfort at seeing pets suffering pushed her onto a different path. Her family had noticed her artistic talents and encouraged her to seek a vocation in art.
While working on a school project, Ms. London entered Tiger Tattoos in Kissimmee, Florida, and interviewed the owner as part of her assignment. After viewing her work, he offered her an apprenticeship on the spot. Shy and intimidated at the time, she turned it down. Some time later, she met with the same tattoo artist and was offered another apprenticeship. Still unsure of herself, she turned it down yet again. Though young, her work stood out enough that she was offered her apprenticeship a third time. She finally accepted and began her tattoo apprenticeship at Tiger Tattoos in 2006.
Over the years, Ms. London learned a plethora of skills in the tattooing industry. She picked up speed, turning out multiple tattoos per day in various styles. Her love of animals continued to shine as she began producing some of the best animal portraits in the state. Ms. London opened her own tattoo studio, Living Canvas Art Company, in October 2009, where she still operates, and in 2018, she welcomed her son into the world.
Her work continues to evolve, and her current specialties include animal portraits, coverups, and black and grey or color realism. She hopes to branch out into neotraditional styles and incorporate it with her top-notch realism. Ms. London’s work continues to be highly sought after, with clients coming from all over the U.S. and other countries and booking dates spaced months in advance. Her competitive spirit takes her to several conventions per year in the hopes of adding to her impressive award collection.
Most of all, Ms. London seeks to leave a lasting impression on every client she has the opportunity to work with, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that will last forever.
